Who We Are and What Drives Us
Lixelon started in 2018 when a small group of yoga practitioners realized something was missing in traditional wellness education. Most programs either focused too heavily on physical poses or got lost in abstract concepts. We wanted something practical—a bridge between ancient yoga traditions and the realities of modern life in cities like Zaporizhzhia.
Our approach isn't about quick fixes or dramatic transformations. It's about building sustainable practices that fit into real schedules. We teach people how to breathe properly during stressful days, how to stretch without injury, and how to develop routines they'll actually maintain beyond the first few weeks.
How We Got Started
Our founder, Vesna, spent years working in various wellness centers across Europe before settling in Ukraine. She noticed a pattern—students would attend classes enthusiastically for a month or two, then disappear. When she asked why, the answers were always similar: too complicated, too time-consuming, or they felt lost without constant guidance.
That feedback shaped everything we built. Instead of creating another rigid program, we designed flexible learning paths. Some students prefer morning practice routines. Others need evening wind-down sequences. A few just want to understand proper breathing techniques for managing anxiety at work.
What Makes Our Teaching Different
We don't promise miracle results or overnight changes. Our programs acknowledge that building a sustainable practice takes months, not weeks. Most students start seeing noticeable improvements in flexibility and stress management around the three-month mark. Some take longer. That's completely normal.
Our instructors teach with clear explanations of what each movement actually does for your body. No mystical language or vague promises. When we teach a breathing technique, we explain the physiological effects—how it influences your nervous system, why it helps with sleep quality, and which situations it works best for.
What Guides Our Teaching Philosophy
Honest Progress
We track actual development rather than promising unrealistic outcomes. Students receive clear feedback on their technique and practical suggestions for improvement.
Adaptable Methods
Every body is different. Our instructors modify poses and sequences based on individual limitations, injuries, or specific wellness goals you're working toward.
Evidence-Based Approach
We combine traditional yoga wisdom with current research on movement science, stress physiology, and recovery techniques used by physical therapists.
Our Development Timeline
We've grown steadily since 2018, always prioritizing quality instruction over rapid expansion. Here are some key moments that shaped who we are today.
2018: Foundation Phase
Started with small weekend workshops in Zaporizhzhia, focusing on breathing techniques and basic movement principles. Limited our first groups to eight students to ensure everyone received personal attention.
2020: Program Expansion
Developed our first comprehensive six-month course after receiving feedback from early students. Added specialized modules for desk workers dealing with chronic back tension.
2022: International Reach
Began accepting students from neighboring countries. Created English-language materials to accommodate our growing international audience while maintaining our Ukrainian base.
2024: Specialized Tracks
Launched dedicated programs for specific needs—stress management sequences, mobility improvement for athletes, and gentle practices for older adults new to movement work.

Founder and Lead Wellness EducatorVesna brings fourteen years of experience teaching yoga across various European wellness centers. Her background combines traditional Hatha principles with modern movement science—she studied both in India and later completed certifications in functional movement at sports medicine clinics in Germany. Before starting Lixelon, she worked with rehabilitation patients recovering from injuries, which taught her how to adapt practices for different physical capabilities. She's known for breaking down complex movements into manageable steps and explaining exactly why each technique matters for your wellbeing.
